A showing of the confidence amongst the Potters supporters is that nobody voted for City to finish in the bottom three, they even had a vote to finish in the top 6!
The top 3 was as follows
3) 11th-14th - 17.2% - Finishing here would be a consistent showing to go with last seasons 12th place finish and see Stoke cement their standing as a middle standing side
2) 15th-17th - 24.1% - Just avoiding relegation would see the Potters achieve their goal set out for the season and see them avoid the dreaded second season syndrome. Although this would be a drop from last season's final position it would be a position that many Potters fans and management would take right now.
1) 9th-10th - 34.5% - The additions of Tuncay et al have inspired real confidence and pundits, who were so keen to dismiss Stoke during the last 18 months, are now claiming the Britannia Stadium side will be comfortably safe and looking at a top 10 finish. The players are more than capable of this and a return to the glory days of the 70's could be around the corner...and it seems many agree!
