The Potters have not beaten the Gunners away since 1981 but confidence is high despite defeat to Blackpool last Saturday.
Stoke had been unbeaten in their previous five Barclays Premier League games, a sequence which began with three successive wins.
Bosnia international Begovic, who has started the last eight league games, told the club's website, www.stokecityfc.com: "We know what Arsenal are all about, they are a fantastic side, with world-class players all over the pitch.
"But why can't we go there and get the win? In football, anything is possible. Teams like ourselves have gone to Arsenal this season and beaten them, so there is absolutely no reason why we can't do the same at the weekend."
Begovic is enjoying his spell in the first team having forced himself in front of Thomas Sorensen and Carlo Nash in manager Tony Pulis' reckoning.
The 23-year-old said: "I know how Thomas and Carlo will be feeling, and they like myself are all working hard in training. They are waiting to step in, so it is important for me that I keep doing well, and keep doing the right things out there on the pitch."
