Stoke pair Robert Huth and Matthew Etherington have been banned from the Potters Europa League Play Off Round Second leg at the Britannia Stadium.
The pair, who have been influential in the Potters success over recent years, have picked up two yellow cards in the Potters three Europa League games so far meaning they will be forced to sit out the game where Stoke will hope to hold on to their 1-0 lead and book their place in the group stages of the competition.
With Jermaine Pennant struggling with injury the Potters could recall Danny Pugh and Rory Delap to play on the wings, if the latter can overcome a recent hamstring strain, with Andy Wilkinson and Ryan Shotton, who impressed in a twenty minute run out at Norwich on Saturday, in the frame for a start at right back.
