Stoke are preparing a double raid on Tottenham Hotspur for England striker Peter Crouch and Honduran midfielder Wilson Palacios.
The pair would likely reach a combined fee of approaching £20m but would solve two major holes in the City managers summer strengthening plans.
Crouch has been linked heavily in recent days, with a fee of between £6m and £9m being banded around, whilst Palacios is a new name, for this summer, and would command a fee of around £10m after joining Tottenham for £14m two seasons ago.
Stoke have already signed Jonathan Woodgate this summer, after he was released by Tottenham.
