Potters academy duo Ryan Connor and Tom Urwin have secured trials at Coca-Cola Championship side Plymouth Argyle a they search for a professional contract.
Right winger Urwin, 18, has been a mainstay in the Potters U18 side for the past two years but was recently told he would not be offered a contract at the Britannia Stadium.
Connor, also 18, has also continually been in the Potters Under 18 side for two years, playing the majority of the time as a defensive midfielder but has also played at left back and centre back. Since also being told he wouldn't be offered professional terms he has trialled with the Republic or Irelands U19 set up and also trained with Burton.
The pair, who are both from Stoke-on-Trent and have progressed right through the clubs academy from the beginning, will play in Plymouth's reserve match tomorrow in the hope they can win deals with the Green Army.
Striker Louis Moult recently signed a two year contract with Stoke whilst the Potters have released the rest of their academy stars.
