Stoke City have today reportedly signed Hull City striker Jon Parkin on a loan deal untill the end of the season.
Parkin, knicknamed The Beast has joined after a recent fall out with Tigers manager Phil Brown.
Manager Tony Pulis told The Sentinel, "Big John is an immensly strong player, and one we're delighted to welcome to the club." He continued to say, "When he is 110% fit and raring to go he's a really good player."
Stoke will surely be hoping that Tony Pulis can get the best out of Parkin as they are in desperate need of someone to score them goals.
'The Beast' stands at 6ft 4in, and the 25 year old has scored 7 goals in 32 appearances for Hull this season. He started his career at Barnsley before moves to York and then Macclesfield. It was at Macclesfield, that he really made his name scoring 36 goals in 78 appearances. This prompted Hull City to pay around £200,000 for his services.
Since joining Hull he has bagged 12 goals in 50 appearances, including one in a 3-0 win for Hull against Stoke last season.
