Full-back Dickinson has joined League One side Leeds Unted whilst midfielder Soares has left for Championship strugglers Charlton Athletic.
Manager Tony Pulis has said that both need to get some games under their belt. Dickinson, after plying a major role during the promotion campaign has not had much of a look in in the Premier League and seems to be behind Danny Higginbotham, Andy Griffin, Andy Wilkinson and Andrew Davies for a full-back spot. Soares joined Stoke for £1.5m in the summer from Crystal Palace but has not made a great impact on the first team.
Hopefully both players will benefit from playing first team football again and come back stronger to challenge for a spot in the Potters line up.
