Potters Talk Over Striker Swap Deal

Stoke are exploring the option of swapping Turkish striker Tuncay for Wigan's pacey hitman Hugo Rodallega.

Both players are reportedly happy to move from their clubs and have interested their planned destinations, with Pulis chasing Rodallega for over twelve months, and Latics boss Roberto Martinez keeping a close eye on Tuncay's vulnerable Potters career after numerous niggly incidents last season.

Stoke have already had a £7m bid turned down for the Columbian striker whilst Wigan's £3m bid for Tuncay was instantly dismissed last week.

The Potters reportedly value Rodallega at £9m and will want to recoup at least the £5.5m they paid for Tuncay last summer, leaving around £3m in cash travelling to the DW Stadium as part of the deal.
