Potters to sign Chadwick in January?

"The best thing for Stoke is to have players here on a permanent basis," De Koning said. "When they are on loan they can be called back and you have to look for another player and we saw what happened on the day of the Carling Cup game against Mansfield. We were told he couldn't play.

"Maybe it's possible (that Stoke will sign Chadwick in January) or we will take him on loan for another six months and buy him in the summer, but that's up to the board."
