City Academy graduate Carl Dickinson has joined Championship side Portsmouth on a twelve month loan.
Ex-Pompey boss Pulis has already sent Ibrahima Sonko down to the south coast club as they battle to stay afloat following their financial meltdown over the past 12 months.
The club have only just been cleared to compete this season and ex-Potters boss Steve 'Quitter' Cotterill, now in charge at Fratton Park, had just three defenders in his squad before capturing Dickinson.
Left back Stephen Jordan had signed for Pompey, from Burnley, but decided he wanted a more secure cliub and exercised a get out clause in his contract without playing a game for the recently relegated side. That left the club without a recognised left back and the call was duly made to Stoke.
Dickinson has been linked with a season long loan move to Sheffield United all summer, aswell as a £750,000 move to Preston North End, but has now got himself a club to go and get another twelve months experience in Englands second tier.
Dickinson has already had loan spells at Blackpool, Leeds and Barnsley since coming through the Potters academy.
