"I'd have loved the chance to put out my top 11," he said, "then we could really have given Derby a game. It would be interesting to see how many times George (Burley) has had to change his team this season. We've continually had to change ours."
"We are also playing with players who aren't 100 per cent fit and others who are coming out of contract. That's a problem because they don't know if their future lies at Stoke City or somewhere else."
"We are gifting goals and must now get back to basics," he continued. "We are making it too easy for teams.
