It has been rumoured for some time that chairman Gunnar Gislason was keen to inject cash into the team but the stumbling block appeared to be that the English directors were unsure about putting up the money.
However, whatever problmes there were have now been resolved and a huge transfer budget is now sitting in the lap of Pulis. Along with money invested by the board memebers, the money received from the Kris Commons tribunial has also been made available for squad strengthening.
With the Potters lying in the top six and already looking one of the better sides in the division, this injection is likely to make City one of the favourites for promtion and there is a real chance that with the right signings, the dream of Premiership football can be achieved.
