Stoke are closing in on record season ticket sales after topping the 20,000 barrier for the second year running.
Last season saw the Potters break twenty thousand sales for the first time, ending up with 20,500 season ticket holders, and now look set to smash that figure with two months left until the start of the season and the prices still at the mid-term price.
The Potters have set a limit on sales, not made public but believed to be around 22,000, which allows there to be a number of tickets left available for each game.
2009/10 saw the clubs highest average attendance for over 50 years and these sales, and the increased number of home seats for certain games last season, and most probably this, due to a lowering in away allocation, will add more power to the argument of increasing the size of the stadium at the end of 2010/11.
The Potters fans can start preparing for the season on Thursday when the new seasons fixtures are released.
