City youngster Tom Soares has agreed an extension to his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, staying at Hillsborough for the rest of the season.
Soares, 23, has only made the one appearance for the Potters this season, in the August Carling Cup victory over Leyton Orient, and has spent the past two months on loan at the Yorkshire side.
After struggling to break into the side at first, Soares has become a regular under new manager Alan Irvine, earning high praise from the new boss, who has three wins from three games.
