After joining Stoke in the summer from Crystal Palace, the promising youngster failed to hold down a regular spot in the first team, making only 8 appearances before going out on loan to Charlton Athletic. However, after making 11 appearances for the Championship strugglers, the Londoner ahs now returned to Stoke vowing to fight for his place.
Soares admits that it has been tough coming to Stoke, but say it is now down to him to work hard in training and in the reserves to show he can play in the first team, and then take his chance when it arrives, even if that is not this season.
The highly rated player also says moving to Stoke has been different for him, but his family are up with him and he sticks by his decision to move.
