Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has admitted, via his twitter account, that his future at the club is still unclear, forcing him to sit out the clubs pre-season programme so far.
Sorensen was thought to have accepted his position within the squad and would fight to remove current first choice Asmir Begovic from between the sticks but yesterdays tweets show the very opposite.
Firstly the Denmark international, who has 96 caps for his country, posted this on the social networking site 'I really appreciate all the support from you Stoke fans. Nothing has been decided about my future yet. Keep u posted' before then posting this later in the day 'Sadly not playing again tonight. It frustrating when u just wanna play football but the situation makes it a bit complicated at the moment'
Manager Tony Pulis is keen to keep Sorensen at the club but interest would be rife should it become blatantly obvious the experienced stopper, who has nearly 500 Premier League games under his belt, is prepared to leave for guaranteed first team football.
