Stoke have signed Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome in a deal worth £4m.
The two clubs agreed the fee this morning and the striker, who averages a goal a game at the Britannia Stadium as an away team player, has been locked in talks all day after arriving at the stadium at lunchtime.
Jerome has been chased by manager Tony Pulis for the last three transfer windows but his perseverance has finally paid off with Jerome now set to compete with Kenwyne Jones, Jon Walters, Ricardo Fuller and hopefully fellow newboy Peter Crouch for a spot in the Potters attack.
Pulis has now signed Jerome and Palaios today and is awaiting confirmation of the signing of Peter Crouch for a club record £10m.
