Stokies make some noise at Old Trafford

I arrived at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon having watched the first half of the big match in a pub and listened to the 2nd half on the way to the ground in the car. On my arrival - the atmosphere inside Old Trafford Cricket Ground was absolutely superb - So many people were drunk and everybody was having a really good laugh.

I notice a set of Stoke fans proudly wearing their shirts walking past me - I wasn't wearing anything Stoke, being my first Cricket Match - I had no idea what it was going to be like.

The set of Stoke Fans sat in the opposite side of the ground to me but I could see the red and white stripes clearly. Twice, Maybe three times this what turned out to be large group of Stoke fans began to start delilah! The atmosphere was already good with songs, mexican waves, drinking contests between themselves, but when it went quiet - Delilah began and many joined in.

Made me totally proud to be a Stokie.
