Stoke midfielder Michael Tonge has conceded his future lies away from the Britannia Stadium. The 27-year-old has failed to make an impression under Tony Pulis having played just 14 times since joining from Sheffield United two years ago and he has not featured in a Barclays Premier League match since February 2009. He spent last season on loan at Championship sides Preston and Derby and now accepts he has to find a new club. "I am in a bit of a strange situation but I'll be at Stoke getting fit for the new season and will speak to the manager," he told The Sentinel. "I'd like to be playing again this season but it looks as though it might be elsewhere. "I am not complaining about that, just being realistic. I'm certainly not sulking about my situation. From my point of view, I want to get fit for the new season and see what happens."
