The Potters booked their first FA Cup semi-final appearance for 39 years with a 2-1 win over West Ham on Sunday.
But with their last-four clash with Bolton almost a month away, Pulis is keen for the team not to focus all their attention on that one date.
Stoke are currently 12th in the table but just three points above the relegation zone and Pulis is aware any distractions could jeopardise their bid to secure a fourth successive season in the top flight.
"The first thing I said to the lads in the dressing room after the game was `Fantastic, enjoy it, but don't forget we have a tough game on Saturday against Newcastle'," Pulis said.
"The great thing is we have overcome West Ham but I have said to them `Now look at the league table' and we will certainly be doing that this week."
