But the Potters boss says the club must not become complacent or move away from their roots.
"Our club is a community club and as long as it stays that way with everybody pulling and pushing together we'll be ok," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"That's from Peter (Coates, the club owner), through to me, to the players, to the coaches and those fantastic supporters on the terraces," he said.
Following their promotion in 2008, the club targeted three years of top flight football with a view to using the cash generated to improve its infrastructure.
With a new training ground and improved facilities already in place, Pulis says it is crucial that the club meet that target by securing survival this season.
"This is a massive year for us, we have to stay in the Premier League this year," he added.
"From that period onwards we really will push on.
"This is the hardest and toughest League in the world and we must remember we've only been in it for two years."
