Johan Boskamp seems to be on his way out of Stoke City. He has indicated that he will be gone by the end of the week. This is as a result of the board being unwilling to offer the two year deal that the manager asked for.

It cannot be just coincidence that when the positions of De Koning and Rudge was sorted as Boskamp seemed to be in charge that the team performed well. It is sad when 'grown men' cannot resolve differences both in the board room and in the team. Ego's can take over and positions become entrenched. This is a sport not a business. Yes it has to be run as a business, but surely passion has to be there too, a passion for the team to do well not for monetary reasons but for the feel good factor that comes with a successful team.
