Thommo told the sentinel: "I just happened to be in the right place at the right time for the goal," beamed Thomas, "and I' m still trying to get my breath back after the celebrations".
Thomas sprinted towards the south stand obviously on an extreme high after the ball went over the line.

The City fans never stopped singing for the entire afternoon and really rocked highbury. From 45 minutes before the kick off until over 10 minutes after the final whistle, the crowd were singing loudly compared to an Arsenal side who only sung after their first goal.
Thommo commented: "Our supporters were absolutely fantastic and did themselves justice. I just hope they feel the players have done themselves justice as well.
"We were unfortunate not to bring them back to the Britannia, or even win. It was a lovely feeling to score, and just disappointing not to come away with a result.
