Stoke are reportedly targeting a trio of Manchester United stars as the players come back to pre-season training this week.
Reports in the papers over the weekend state that the Potters are looking at defensive duo Wes Brown and John O'Shea, whilst unconfirmed rumours have also seen City linked with striker Danny Welbeck.
All three came through the academy at Old Trafford and the newspaper reports said that Brown would be available for £2m with O'Shea also available for a similar fee. Both can play anywhere across the backline with O'Shea having also played in central midfield for the Red Devils.
The Potters have also reportedly bid £12m for the services of England Under-21 striker Welbeck, who is keen on a move away from Old Trafford to get some regular first team football after spending last season at Sunderland.
The Black Cats, managed by former Manchester United skipper Steve Bruce, are expected to also be in the hunt for all three players.
