A young City got back to winning ways when they travelled to Huddersfield at the weekend.
The Under 18's had lost 3-0 to Liverpool in midweek but bounced back to claim all three points and boost their chances of a healthy finishing position in Academy league Group C.
First year and ex-Manchester United starlet Nick Jackson grabbed the games only goal when he curled in direct from a free kick, whilst the defence was solid and kept another clean sheet.
City now have four games left, and all are at home, starting on Wednesday when they face Manchester United before taking on Barnsley on Saturday.
Even though the Under 18's are 9th and have only four games left it is still mathematically possible for the Potters to finish top of the group whilst just one win would see them rise five places to fourth.
