Adrian Pennock's U18's get their competitive season underway tomorrow morning when they take on MK Don's at the Michelin Training Ground, (11am ko)
Last season saw the U18's claim more points than any other season, and most of the stars of that successful squad were 1st years, meaning the side's stars are now 12 months older.
There are also a number of highly rated players who have stepped up from U16 to become first year U18's, meaning this could, or possibly even should, be an even better season for the Potters than yesterday was.
MK Dons on the other hand finished bottom of their group with the lowest amount of points of any U18 side in any group. They managed just 3 wins and four draws all season and conceded 81 goals.
Last season the opening day saw the Potters lose 7-1 in driving rain at the Mich, in a match they incredibly dominated but, without pace at the back, were repeatedly exposed on the counter attack.
