Thomas Sorenson - 8 - Pulled off a couple of great saves to keep the Potters in the game and commanded his area all game. Could have been slightly criticised for the goal
Andy Wilkinson - 5 - Was given problems by Wright-Phillips all game and nearly gave away a penalty first half. Subbed off after half time with a shin injury
Danny Higginbotham - 7 - Was solid and dependable despite being shifted around the back four with the continued reshuffling in the City back four.
Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Misjudged the goal but one clearance off the line late on made up for it and his presence in the box allowed Fuller to time his run to perfection for the equaliser. Apart from goal will have impressed Mr. Capello in the stands
Robert Huth - 8 - Strong in the air, comfortable on the ball and well positioned throughout in a solid game for the defender
Matthew Etherington - 6 - Couple of early through ballss and crosses caused trouble and panic before twisted knee ended his game after 14 minutes
Tuncay - 6 - Struggled down the left wing as he was outmuscled by the strong right sided players in the Eastlands sides line up, and had three players all over him whenever he got the ball. Could have won it late on after a great run but angle was too tight
Salif Diao - 7 - Was here, there and everywhere in the game and always willing to put a foot in. Distribution was a little bit off and he gave the ball away a lot but in defensive duties he was at the top of his game
Glenn Whelan - 8 - Controlled the midfield and spread the play in his best performance of the season against the club where he started out. If he could become more consistent he could be a real important player for the Potters
Mama Sidibe - 8 - Won a lot in the air and caused the defence problems as he had a good day at the office, a display muich needed for this game
Ricardo Fuller - 8(Man of the Match) - Great run and finish for the goal and was a menace throughout causing constant problems to the Citeh backline
Liam Lawrence - 7 - Only on the pitch for half an hour before being the Potters second injured right winger of the game when he was forced off with a gash to the knee. Plenty of effort but the Potters were on the back foot for a lot of the time he was on the pitch and he had little chance to impress going forward
Rory Delap - 7 - Set up the goal with another long throw after coming on minutes before half time. Was solid in his defensive duties and found Fuller down the line numerous times to help set the Jamaican off on more attacks
Danny Collins - 7 - Defender came on to tighten up defence and provided more composure on the ball when going forward as the Potters looked to win the game whilst also defending well when called upon
