Thomas Sorensen - 7 - Made some crucial saves at crucial times and handling was good, which was vital.
Robert Huth - 8 - Solid as always, he made the switch inside to centre half with ease and showed a great head and awareness to always be in the right place at the right time
Danny Collins - 7 - Continued his general improvement of late with another good, solid defensive display. Cut out all the messing around and team are reaping the rewards
Danny Higginbotham - 7 - Had a great partnership with Huth after Faye went off as he put in another showing full of heart on his 100th Potters appearance.
A.D.Faye - 7 - Was involved at both ends until an injury curtailed his game less than half an hour in. Missed two good chances to open the scoring in the Hammers box whilst also being brave in the tackle in his own.
Liam Lawrence - 6 - Still struggling for form but maybe needs a run of games to find himself again. Didn't really contribute as much as others but commitment and energy was there
Matthew Etherington - 7 - Laid low by a sickness bug but still gave the opposition problems, highlighting just how good he is. Got a great reception from the home fans
Glenn Whelan - 6 - Up against the combative Parker he did ok but allowed the England hopeful a few chances to create openings for the hosts. Never gave up though and fought hard for the win
Rory Delap - 6 - Same as Whelan regarding Parker but was unfazed by the advertising boards fiasco and showed great energy from minute one to ninety.
Mama Sidibe - 5 - I think he could do with a spell out of the firing line as he is really struggling to make his mark on the game. No leap on him which takes away most of his game
David Kitson - 7 - Was leading the line well until injury struck and he had to be withdrawn just after half time. Seemed happier and much more in control in a more advanced role
Andy Wilkinson - 7 - Came on when Faye got injured and slotted into the back four, being his usual rock solid self and taking no prisoners whilst bombing forward when the chance arrived
Tuncay - 7 - Came on for the injured Kitson and gave his all, as another show of commitment after his strop the other week, before being shifted onto the left wing where he helped out his full back and also showed glimpses of the skill he possesses when one on one with the full back
Ricardo Fuller - 9(Man of the Match) - Outstanding! Changed the game when he came on as he scored one of the solo goals of the season after being on the pitch for seconds, then tormented the defence as the Potters consolidated their lead
