A youthful Potters side were unable to break down a spirited Worcester side in a match played out at pedestrian speed.
Carlo Nash, Andrew Davies and David Kitson were the only first teamers present, and one of the trio was soon departing as Davies left the field injured.
The game was a chance for out of favour David Kitson to net a few goals but as he was now the only non-academy outfield player on the pitch he moved to centre back and marshalled the defence to a clean sheet with Mitchell, Lund and Brunt all going close to grabbing a winner for the Potters.
